Operator

A licensed taxi or private hire company accepting bookings via the platform.

Passenger

Any person submitting a journey request through the platform.

Booking

A confirmed journey request accepted by an operator.

Transport Service

The physical transportation provided by a licensed operator.

Commission

The fee retained by Zappy Transport for arranging the booking between passenger and operator.

• City Fields Transport LTD (Zappy Transport) operates an online platform that connects passengers with licensed taxi and private hire operators.
• Zappy Transport does not provide transport services and does not employ drivers.
• Transport services are provided by independent licensed operators who accept bookings through the Zappy Transport platform.

Operators remain responsible for:

• Dispatching drivers
• Providing transport services
• Complying with licensing regulations
• Maintaining vehicles and insurance

• Passengers submit journey requests through the platform.
• Booking requests are transmitted to licensed operators covering the relevant area.
• An operator may accept the booking and dispatch a driver.

A transport contract is formed between the passenger and the operator when the operator accepts the booking request.

• Zappy Transport may collect payment on behalf of the operator.
• Zappy Transport retains a commission for arranging the booking.

• Passenger fares may be calculated through the Zappy Transport pricing system.
• Operators authorise the platform to display and quote passenger fares.
• By accepting a booking request, the operator agrees to provide the transport service at the agreed operator payment.

• Passengers may cancel bookings subject to applicable cancellation policies.
• Operators may cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances.

• Passengers must provide accurate booking details.
• Passengers must behave appropriately during journeys.

Operators remain responsible for:

• Driver conduct
• Vehicle safety
• Licensing compliance

Estimated arrival times are provided as guidance only.

• Zappy Transport acts solely as a booking agent.
• Transport services are provided by operators.
• Zappy Transport is not responsible for the provision of transport services.

Complaints relating to the transport service should be directed to the operator responsible for the journey.

Zappy Transport does not guarantee operator availability in all locations.

Zappy Transport shall not be liable for losses arising from the transport service provided by operators.

Passenger data may be shared with operators for the purpose of fulfilling bookings.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
